Everyday Ezra  #53

Yesterday I got a pencil case with three pockets. In Israel you need a pencil case because in school, kids only have plain old tables. You can't store anything in a table so you need a pencil case. My pencil case is orange with an orange metal gecko on a keychain.

After I got the pencil case I got a miniature pizza. It was a really good pizza. And that's pretty much all we did at the mall.

I'll post soon. Signing off, Ezra

Everyday Ezra #52

Today we went to Beit Guvrin. In Beit Guvrin there are lots of caves. First we went to the Polish cave, but it wasn't actually a cave, it was a giant cistern.  Next, we went to the cross pigeon cave.  There we saw lots of little pigeon roosts in the walls, and it said that there were 2,000 pigeon roosts in the room.  Next, we went to a cave, it wasn't very cool, it was just two little rooms with a bath in it.  The next one was an oil press.  There was a big stone with a hole in the middle and another circular stone under it.  The first stone rolled around the second stone, and you put olives on the second stone and the first stone crushes them.  Next we went to ancient houses.  Each house had its own cistern.  Then we went to the longest cavern ever, it had lots of cisterns and rooms, and it was really awesome.  Then we went to a burial cave which was really fun.  The burial cave had pictures of animals, some were mythical, some were real.  Then we went to a broken down church.  The church had an arch on top.  Then we went to the bell caves.  The bell caves were huge!  In the bell caves, I saw a really big group of bats.  Then we went home.  That was pretty much all we did in Beit Guvrin.
