Not So Everyday Ezra #65

Dear readers, from now on I will try to blog each week. In every blog there will be a story specially written by me for the blog. This week's story is called: THE FIRE.

Eliot woke to the smell of burning breakfast assuming that his mother had burnt it. He opened his eyes Eliot froze from terror as he saw yellow-orange flames engulf the carpet on the floor. Outside of his window his parents and a firetruck pulled up in front of his house. He already knew that they had come too late. The fire was nearing his bed. The firetruck had stopped and firefighters streamed out of the truck and into the burning house. The flames raced towards Eliot's bed and up his wooden bed frame. A firefighter broke through the door to Eliot's room but his sheets had already caught fire.
Eliot woke up in a blanket of cold sweat, he smelled the air and smelled cooking breakfast. To his relief it was not burning.

Besides the weekly story each month I will do a normal blog.

Signing off,
Ezra

Not So Everyday Ezra #64

Dear readers, this will be my blog about summer break. I hope to blog again on the 30th of August.
This summer I went to day-camp for the first five weeks of summer, three weeks of camp at a farm and after that two weeks of karate camp.
At the farm I made a mud oven, a scarecrow and a water purifier. During the camp I did a course about medicinal plants. We made planters out of recycled materials. On the last day of camp we stayed at the farm overnight and I chose to stay up all night.
In karate camp we had a morning run every morning and between laps we did a workout. In the late morning played games and then had a martial arts lesson. One day we made nun-chucks (nunchacko)
another we did karate and judu.
Both camps were very fun but very different. Hope to blog again soon.

Signing off,
Ezra
