California Adventure #62

That morning we woke up at the same time, 6:30am. We walked to Disneyland, but instead of going to Disneyland, we went to California Adventure. First we were planning to go to Radiator Springs Races (from Cars), but that ride was closed for the morning. So we went to Luigi's Flying Tires which is like airhockey but you are the puck. So everyone in the ride has to lean to move themselves, and there is a lot of bumping involved. After that we got a Fast Pass for Radiator Springs Races. Then we went to Grizzly River Run which is where you go through man-made rapids strapped in a circular raft. First you go up really high then the whole rest of the ride you are going down-hill through rapids. At some points you are going through a fake mine, a waterfall, geysers and then at the end you go through a pretty big drop.

Then we went to Toy Story Mania which is like a 3D aiming game where you are in a little car with two people on each side. They have guns, and then they aim at targets on a screen. After that we went to Soaring Over California which is like you are in a simulator flying over California landmarks. But you are raised up, so you feel like you are flying because your feet are dangling. While you are over the Redwoods and orange groves, you can actually smell them!

Then we went to Ariel's Undersea Adventure where you are going through some of the songs from the Little Mermaid. Next we went to the Play Parade with a lot of Pixar characters. After that we went back to the hotel for naps and to the water park.

When we went back to California Adventure, we went on Radiator Springs Races, Ariel's Undersea Adventure (again), and to the Sourdough Bread Factory. After those we went to sea A World of Color which is a water show and then they project parts of Disney and Pixar movies onto the water. For Pirates of the Caribbean they shot out flames! By the time A World of Color was done it was time for Disneyland fireworks, and time for us to go to bed.

Signing off,
Ezra
